What is a scrap ?

Definitions of scrap:
1. Scrap is a term used to describe the recycling of metal. Old, unwanted metal such as vehicles, building supplies, and surplus materials, are taken to a scrapyard, where they are processed for later melting into new products.

2. Material designated as obsolete or out-of-specification that will be disposed of in its current state.

3. “Scrap,” the verb, means to compress, shred or destroy.

So, basically, scrap is crap.
